Okay, first things first — there are tens of thousands of ActForLove.org members, and millions in our extended network. Want to search the whole network? Great, just start searching! BUT… want to make sure you are ONLY searching ActForLove.org members specifically? Read the section below! But first, the general stuff…
At ActForLove.org, we make the world a better place by:
- Using all of our profits to promote, grow, and support Left Action, a network of 1,000,000 progressive activists
- Starting our own activist campaigns for good causes that need support, at the Left Action platform
- Building a growing network of activist singles — and turning them into activist doubles.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but what about the dating part?
Okay, here’s how it works. When you use ActForLove.org, you can search tens of thousands of ActForLove.org members — people who specifically signed up at ActForLove.org. AND you can also search an extended network of millions of personals via our FastCupid partners (drawing over the years from a range of other sites, including Salon, Nerve, and The Onion). So yes, your “one in a million” match is out there (but note: the extended search may include lefties and non-lefties alike, so just an FYI!)
What if I want to search for Act For Love members only?
Just go to the search page, click “Advanced Search” and then check the box that says “Show only Act for Love personals members.” This will give you people who have specifically signed up through ActForLove.org.
This is important: If you want to search for ActForLove.org members only, you must use advanced search.

How much does it cost?
It’s free to search, and free to post profiles. If you see folks you like, and you want to email them, you’ll need to join as a paid member (as little as $10 a month). For that price, you’ll be able to email as many people as you want. If other folks see your profile, and email you — you don’t have to pay a penny.
